I am a retired teacher and college lecturer, and I have lived in Giltbrook since 1992. I am a keen football supporter, and a member of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club. I spend a lot of time with my very elderly parents who live in a local care home. My 99-year-old father has just been awarded the Legion d’Honneur for his part in the Normandy Landings of 1944. One of my priorities, if elected, would be ensure that the best levels of support are provided for our elderly residents, whether in care or in their own homes. In my leisure time, I enjoy travelling, walking, music, and sport, as well as the occasional pint of real ale!
