I’ve lived in Kimberley for most of my adult life, having married and brought my family up here. My philosophy is that if you are going to take you should give something back, hence wanting to become a Councillor. I’m passionate about our lovely town and I’ve always been involved in the community; I managed the local Scout group and I’m on the Kimberley Jam organising team. I am also an active trade unionist sitting on both regional and national committees. Having Labour Councillors and a Labour controlled Council is essential for restoring our high street and getting an equal share of the pot for Kimberley residents.
