Sophie ValeI am a proud to be a young woman involved in politics and firmly believe a different range of voices are needed on Broxtowe Borough Council to better represent the diversity of our community.

I grew up in the area and have attended local schools.  Currently I am studying for my A levels after which I am planning to go straight into full time employment. Although still only 18 I have been politically active for some time.  Recently I was proud to be elected onto Labour’s National Policy Forum, a representative body that helps shape policies that will form the party’s manifesto for the next General Election.

If elected I would work tirelessly to ensure that all the people of Toton & Chilwell Meadows are properly represented:  I won’t be silent in the Council Chamber.  This growing community needs a fair share of resources and the ward an adequate say in all the local developments that will have an impact on the area.  I hope residents will vote for me as I believe I am the right person to deliver for them.
