The risks of Fracking haven’t gone away

When it comes to a level head and expert opinion on fracking – I listen to Broxtowe Labour member Kristian Ravnkilde (who’s recently had an article published in professional magazine CIWEM). Kristian says that not only is fracking unnecessary, it is also an unacceptably risky addition to the impacts of recent human activity and we should instead spend resources on energy saving and renewable sources, which are becoming more economical all the time.

That there is a private profit to be made out of it is not the overriding consideration. Of course Anna Soubry is on record as being a keen supporter of fracking and wouldn’t mind it coming to Broxtowe – I wonder what her motives are ?
